Job Overview

The Data Analyst Mentor will provide strategic training and mentorship to Eduroids' students on a part-time basis, focusing on equipping them with industry-relevant data analytics skills. This role involves delivering hands-on training sessions, developing course materials, and offering personalised guidance to students to enhance their technical proficiency and career readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery:
    Conduct weekend training sessions, focusing on data analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Curriculum Development:
    Develop and maintain course content that aligns with industry standards and the latest trends in data analytics.
  • Hands-On Learning:
    Guide participants through practical exercises, real-world case studies, and data analysis projects to enhance their technical skills.
  • Mentorship:
    Provide personalised support, answering queries and helping students understand and apply data analytics concepts.
  • Industry Alignment:
    Ensure that all training sessions and materials reflect the latest advancements in data analytics tools, trends, and best practices.
  • Assessment and Feedback:
    Monitor student progress through regular assessments, offer constructive feedback, and suggest improvement strategies.
  • Knowledge Transfer:
    Share practical insights and real-world examples to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and industry applications.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role.
    • Must possess real-time experience working with Fortune 500 companies.
    • Proven expertise in data analytics, data visualization, and reporting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in tools like SQL, Python, and R.
    • Advanced skills in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
    • Knowledge of statistical analysis, data cleaning, and predictive analytics.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to simplify complex data concepts for learners from diverse backgrounds.
