Job Overview
The Wealth Management Instructor Mentor will provide expert training and mentorship to Eduroids' students on a part-time basis, focusing on wealth management principles, strategies, and tools. This role involves delivering interactive training sessions, developing industry-relevant course materials, and offering personalized guidance to students, preparing them for careers in wealth management, financial planning, and investment advisory.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery:
- Conduct engaging weekend training sessions covering core wealth management topics such as portfolio management, financial planning, investment strategies, and client relationship management.
- Provide insights into the use of financial analysis tools and platforms.
Curriculum Development:
- Develop and update course materials that reflect current trends and regulations in wealth management and financial planning.
- Design case studies and simulations that mimic real-world wealth management scenarios.
Hands-On Learning:
- Guide students through practical exercises, including portfolio creation, risk assessment, and retirement planning using tools like Bloomberg, Morningstar, or Excel.
- Introduce participants to wealth management software such as eMoney Advisor, Wealthbox, or Orion Advisor Tech.
Mentorship:
- Offer personalized guidance to students, addressing individual learning needs and career aspirations in the wealth management field.
- Provide practical advice on certifications like CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
Industry Alignment:
- Ensure training content aligns with the latest market trends, regulatory requirements, and client servicing strategies in wealth management.
Assessment and Feedback:
- Assess student progress through quizzes, financial modeling exercises, and portfolio presentations.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve their analytical and client management skills.
Knowledge Transfer:
- Share over 15 years of industry experience, including client advisory, portfolio management, and financial planning, to bridge theoretical knowledge and practical application.

- Student Skill Development: High competency levels in financial planning, portfolio management, and wealth advisory strategies.
- Curriculum Relevance: Ensure training materials reflect the latest advancements in wealth management tools and techniques.
- Hands-On Expertise: Students demonstrate practical skills in creating and managing investment portfolios.
- Feedback Scores: Achieve excellent participant ratings for training quality and mentorship.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory roles.
- Proven track record of managing high-net-worth clients and portfolios.
- Real-time experience with Fortune 500 financial institutions is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in financial modeling, asset allocation, and investment analysis.
- Expertise in financial planning software and portfolio management tools.
- Strong understanding of market trends, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
